Successful Organization and Enthusiastic Participants in Moyeuvre National Forest Walk

They came from Metz, Verdun, Nancy, Saint-Dié, even more numerous and motivated than in previous years, to travel the 5, 11 or even 20 km of marked trails in the Moyeuvre national forest. The 50 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to put the walkers in the best possible conditions. Registrations, supplies and advice were provided by members of Loisirs et Détente mobilized alongside the president, Marie-Josée Caserta. 870 athletes signed their registration. “Thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the event, as well as to the catering after the effort. Great team spirit! », underlines the president. “I come from Metz, and this is my first walk. It’s great, because you can approach it at whatever time you want and cover the distance you feel capable of covering wooded trails and summer weather,” says Alphonse, a fifty-year-old from Woippy. . “I did the 11 km walking at my own pace whereas, in the past, I had run the route. That was before,” notes Patrice, a 73-year-old Moyeuvrien. A group of walkers, including Claudia and Jacky, two former Moyeuvrians, were in heaven: “Pure air in the heart of nature, a small steep hill that strengthens the calves, the Tréhémont farm, the forestry house, a view of Ranguevaux , the Corbas of Moyeuvre-Petite, we found our youth with emotion.”
