The visitors of the open-air cinema at the monastery pond, which the youth council had organized in cooperation with Victoria Dillmann from the city marketing department, were in a great mood. The quite current film “Indiana Jones 5: The Wheel of Destiny” was shown.

According to Dillmann, there have often been open-air cinemas in the past, but not so far by the current youth council. She had the idea for this last year, but the planning had started relatively quickly because there were questions about the compatibility with the sludge suction and the discovery of the grenades. The youth council was involved in all discussions and the organization right from the start. Corvin Munz, Oliver Reichert, Simon Schneider and Bhavan Sritharsan also sold popcorn in proper style at the event. The proceeds will benefit the monastery pond. The Seehaus was responsible for other dishes and cocktails.

Members of the DLRG were also on site, although the pond was not allowed to be used for swimming. In return, the visitors could make themselves comfortable on the extensive sunbathing lawn near the children’s paddling area. Leopold Winterhalder from the Kronentheater in Titisee-Neustadt set up a 6.5 x 4 meter screen there. A 30,000 euro expensive, so-called DCP projector was used, which can play the eponymous “Digital Video Package”.

Three hours of entertaining entertainment awaited the visitors in the form of the film “Indiana Jones 5: The Wheel of Destiny”, which was shown in regular cinemas just a few weeks ago. A total of around 110 to 120 people were there, who had equipped themselves with warm blankets and jackets because of the somewhat cooler temperatures and had brought deckchairs with them.

Leopold Winterhalder, who was at the monastery pond for the first time, was satisfied with the response.
