The NEC FANDAG was well attended by over eight thousand supporters on Saturday. On the forecourt of the Goffert Stadium, numerous activities for young and old took place all afternoon.
People could jump on the trampolines of JumpSquare, at the Hornbach stand supporters built their own football goal and at NEC Maatschappelijk young and old could experience what it is like to play football in an electric wheelchair.
Meanwhile, on stage, Dirk Proper & Bart van Rooij competed with each other: who is the real NEC expert? And at the stage of the NEC Juniors, Jochem van Gelder presented the run-your-ass-kicking quiz for the younger generation.
The highlight of the day was the player presentation: stadium announcer Gerry van Campen called the players one by one to the stage, to loud cheers and applause from the fans present. Coach Rogier Meijer concluded: after this successful FANDAG, NEC is ready for the start of the Eredivisie season!
