Are you currently under contract with a major label?
Yes with Sony. The team is very nice and I am valued there for my values and talent. I feel very comfortable there.
Can you remember the point when it really started after DSDS?
That was when I first met my current manager. At that time she believed in me more than I did myself. With “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” it’s all glamorous and all great, but as soon as the show ends, you’re pretty much over. My manager then asked me: “Social media is your thing. Do you want to get on with the music right now?” That she believed in me so much opened my eyes.
