Kuala Lumpur – The second Badminton Tournament of the Johor Malayali Association of Johor State, Malaysia was held on Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm at Sinai Saling PS indoor court. In men’s doubles, Vineet and Ghafoor shared the title. Hussain and Zakir are the runners up. Zoya Jobish and Nisha Binoi won the women’s competition. Athira Ragind and Anjana Rahul are the runners-up in the women’s category.

A total of twenty-four teams were fielded in the tournament. Many sports enthusiasts from different parts of Johor State came to watch the tournament. Cash prizes, trophies and medals were distributed to the winners at the closing ceremony. The panel officials of the Johor Malayalee association added that they will organize football, cricket and other sports tournaments in the future.
