The visit of house-to-house brigades and in educational establishments for the vaccination campaign against polio, measles and rubella ends this Monday, July 31.
The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) registered 3,319,463 boys and girls vaccinated against polio, measles and rubella in Ecuador, as of July 24.
This campaign began on May 2 and lasted until July 31 in order to complete the goal of 95% of children vaccinated nationwide.

Zone 8, which includes Guayaquil, Samborondón and Durán, has already reached 95% of the vaccinated child population, with 632,708 inoculations.
The zonal coordinator 8, Lucy Jurado, indicated that it is necessary for children to have the doses to avoid these serious diseases that can cause complications and even death, as in the case of poliomyelitis.
The MSP reported that a new phase called Rapid Vaccination Monitoring (MRV) will begin tomorrow, in which teams from the MSP and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) will visit homes to verify that the doses have been met according to with the current campaign.
During this visit, the vaccination certificate will be required. If you do not have it on hand, you will be asked to provide the information to validate it in the system.
This rapid vaccination monitoring process will be from August 1 to 31.
During this phase, vaccination against polio, measles and rubella will continue in all MSP health centers, where you can get your sons or daughters up to 12 years of age vaccinated.
