Thirty-one volunteers showed up on Wednesday April 5 at the village hall to take part in the first blood drive of the year. This is a little less than during the previous one which took place at the end of December when 39 people came to offer their blood. It’s a shame because the shortage of blood is increasingly felt, yet the French Blood Establishment and the friendly have appealed to all those who can donate, because there is no substitute for human blood. . Maïté Azaïs, local manager of the association of blood donors in Canet and its surroundings, is there to welcome the doctor, nurses and donors, as always she has done things well because in addition to the snack offered by the EFS she has added grilled sausage. The French Blood Establishment and the association warmly thank the donors and expect more of them for the next end-of-year collection because the needs are greater every day.
