125 people presented, 114 bags removed and nine new donors, such is the results of the last blood drive which took place at the Jean Dumas village hall on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 March. “A result equivalent to the last collection carried out in January. A seemingly flattering result made possible by the establishment of a shuttle between the CEA and the village hall which has made it possible to mobilize many donors from the center. Because strength is to note that the usual donors have moved less. Were they put off by the difficulties of parking on the fairground? Whatever the case, we will have to try to do even better next time. To do this, it is important to motivate those around you, friends, colleagues, neighbours… Blood stocks are still today below the minimum safety requirement”, underlines Isabelle Giard, president of the Association of voluntary blood donors of Gramat. The next collection at Gramat will take place on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 June on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique and it will be necessary to be in the right tempo. The Gramat Blood Donor Association thanks the donors for their gesture of solidarity, the volunteers involved in the organization of these days as well as the town hall of Gramat for its support.
