“Successful 3rd Training and Job Fair Brings Companies and Applicants Together in Kevelaer”

If you can visit the Bundeswehr, the Landgard company, the Brouwers metal construction company, the Paeßens dental practice, Edeka Brüggemeiser and Caritas within a short tour of Kevelaer, then there is again a training and job exchange in the double gymnasium on the Hüls. More than 50 exhibitors from the region presented themselves at stands and provided information about entry opportunities in numerous professions.

“Prophylaxis punks” and “mouth play jugglers”

At the stand of the Ergozahn dental practice, for example, friends Fynn, Felix and Maxi from the Kardinal-von-Galen-Gymnasium found out about the training to become a dental technician. “The job is more than just greeting patients and suctioning during treatment,” says Ergozahn employee Diana van Kempen, clearing up a widespread cliché. “There are also many opportunities for further training and advancement,” emphasizes her colleague Hajrah Nawaz. For example, one could specialize in administration or undergo further training to become a dental prophylaxis assistant or dental hygienist.
