The Greens member of the Bundestag Renate Künast can demand that Facebook permanently blocks word-image montages (so-called memes) with an invented quote that was foisted on her. This also applies to all variants of this post, said the Frankfurt Regional Court on Friday. In addition, the politician is entitled to compensation for pain and suffering. The press chamber judges thus upheld a lawsuit by Künast. The former federal minister was represented in the proceedings by lawyers from the Würzburg law firm Chan-jo Jun.
