The Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Red Sea Film Festival, Jumana Al-Rashed, explained that many Arab and African artists worked for a full year to develop their films, ideas, and screenwriting until they reached the stage of honor and support that ensures continued success.
She said: It is necessary to develop this sector, especially since it has achieved remarkable success in 3 years, which is evidence that the film industry in the Arab world, Africa and Asia is constantly growing and gives the festival greater opportunities to highlight young people.
Al-Rashed added that the film industry did not exist in the Kingdom, and even dramas were directed to the cinema.
