JawaPos.com – Face-to-face learning (PTM) has begun in a number of areas by implementing health protocols. To encourage the success of PTM, what needs to be considered is the implementation of vaccination.
Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19, Reisa Broto Asmoro, said that this vaccination will affect the safety of education citizens, especially children. This is because children under the age of 12 have not yet been vaccinated.
“The vaccine for 12-year-old children has not been given, so people around the child must be vaccinated so that they are immune, herd immunity, if the people around them have been vaccinated, it will also provide protection for those who have not received the vaccine,” he said during the Pahamify Parent Week webinar. , Monday (25/10).
If the people around the child have been vaccinated, such as parents, teachers, education staff to people in the home environment, PTM is believed to be able to work well. However, they still adhere to the 3M health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands with soap and keeping a distance.
“If it has been vaccinated, it can be PTM, if it has not been vaccinated, the people closest to it will be an obstacle, PJJ suggested first because there is a risk. So you need to follow the right advice as well, ”he explained.
Schools are also asked to form a School Covid-19 Task Force to oversee the implementation of PTM, whether it has been running effectively or not. Schools should not be closed if you want to make these face-to-face activities a success.
