Subway Passenger Stabbed in Back Inside Manhattan Subway – NBC New York

A subway passenger was stabbed in the back Saturday night during an apparent argument on a moving 2 line train in Manhattan, police said.

The New York City Police said in a report that the incident occurred around 9:15 pm on a northbound train. It was not clear what they were arguing about, but the passenger was stabbed in the back.

He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

No description of the suspect was immediately available. Police said he ran from the 116th Street station in Harlem after the attack.
