The police force said in a statement on Saturday that it had received information from the University of Guelph.
Two of the cases in question allegedly occurred at a party at a private residence and two more at a small campus rally last month.
Police say no injuries or assaults have been reported.
The Guelph Police announcement comes the day after a walkout at Western University in London, where police are investigating four sexual assault complaints.
London Police are also investigating allegations on social media about numerous poisonings and sexual assaults at a university residence during initiations week.
However, no complaints have been filed about the allegations circulating on social media.
