The ChatGPT AI bot that has surprised the world in the last two and a half months will become paid. A couple of weeks ago, OpenAI said that it would test a subscription to the service, and today the launch of ChatGPT Plus took place.
While users can still submit ChatGPT requests for free, there are certain benefits that come with a ChatGPT Plus subscription. AI access will work even during peak hours, responses will be generated faster, and upgrades and new features will be prioritised.
For now, the subscription only works in the US. OpenAI plans to launch the subscription in other countries in the coming months.
For those who use ChatGPT in the workplace, paying $20 a month won’t be a problem, especially considering how much AI can improve productivity. This will help OpenAI itself to pay monstrous bills for the use of cloud systems.
