Thanks to the Xbox presentation yesterday, we finally got to see a bit of Subnautica 2 and got answers to a few questions.
Unknown Worlds has been working on Subnautica 2 for a long time, and they haven’t kept it very secret. It has been said several times that the project is working, but don’t expect it anytime soon. However, due to the nature of time, the imaginary clock just ticked and ticked until it reached the point where the game could finally be officially released.
Last night Xbox Partner Preview as part of it, the love child of Krafton and Unknown Worlds, which will run in 2025, first appeared during the Game Preview program.
According to the developers, the first fans wanted more cooperative options, so now they bring them to Subnautica 2 at last. Released after Partner Preview in a blog post they promised that those who wanted the normal, solitary experience would still get it through the single-player option.
We will know more about the details of the game when we get closer to the release. We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’re sure it will come to PC and Xbox consoles sometime in 2025.
