Low-income families can request educational assistance in the form of school scholarships (from kindergarten to final year) for their enrolled children. in institutions under the AEFE (Organization for French Education Abroad). Only French courses at these institutions are eligible and not international IB courses. The second school scholarship campaign for the year 2024-2025 will be open until September 13, 2024. What are the conditions to get a scholarship?

You must:

• must be registered in the consular register
• They no longer receive family benefits from the CAF (a certificate of deregistration is required for families whose children have stayed in France).
• not be a public law agent (including contractual) based abroad (public law agents are not eligible for the system).

Your child must:

• be of French nationality and registered in your French family register (or at least with a French birth certificate);
• aged at least 3 years as of 31 December 2024; In principle, he must not be more than a year behind in primary school, and more than two years behind in secondary school. ;
• live with family (father, mother, legal guardian) in the consular district of New York;
• be registered in the consular register with at least one of their parents;
• be enrolled or currently enrolling in an institution approved by the Ministry of National Education
