The San Juan Opico Court of Instruction, in La Libertad Centro, ordered Manuel de Jesús Tobar Sibrián to be sent to trial, maintaining the precautionary measure of provisional detention. This subject is accused of homicide.
The events of which he is accused occurred on July 14, 2022 in Ciudad Arce, when the victim identified as Héctor Antonio Artega Alvarado, 57, had an argument with Tobar Sibrián. In the heat of the fight, he pulled out a firearm, shot him and killed the victim.
The accused was located and arrested by the authorities on September 24, 2023, in compliance with an arrest warrant issued by the court.
