Subaru WRX STI maakt comeback in Gymkhana 11

Ken Block passes the Gymkhana torch to Travis Pastrana. And he prefers this Subaru WRX STI over Ford.

Ken Block made Gymkhana big, but keeps it after 10 episodes (and some spin-offs, like Climkhana in Terrakhana) for viewing. He passes the torch to Travis Pastrana, another boy who would rather walk sideways than step forward. Block did most of his drifting skills at the wheel of a Ford, from a Fiesta WRC to the Mustang Hoonicorn. But Pastrana prefers a Subaru, as was the case with the first two episodes of Gymkhana. The Japanese manufacturer is celebrating that comeback in style, as they describe their creation as “the most shredded WRX STI ever built”.

The Gymkhana-Subaru wears an all-carbon fiber body that welcomes all kinds of aerodynamic tweaks. But what stands out are the screamer tailpipes that squeak through the hood. The boxer engine was completely overhauled, but for the time being Subaru does not want to say how much power this WRX STI develops.
