STe – “Sport Trim electrified” stands for the sporty design package of the electric crossover, available with the Platinum equipment package and at an additional cost.
Subaru has started offering the STe equipment package for its Solterra model, which adds more individuality to the car’s appearance and makes it sportier. This package includes black 20-inch light-alloy wheels in Y-spoke design, body-colored fenders and door sills, specially designed interior floor mats, as well as colored STe lettering on the closed front grille and trunk lid.
Such a set costs 3,500 euros in Germany and is available starting with the Platinum equipment package (from 60,000 euros).
The Solterra Platinum comes with many features that allow its owner to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable ride with the support of electronic assistance systems, as this package includes a high-quality audio system from Harman/Kardon, heated seats and steering wheel, electrically adjustable front seats with high-quality artificial leather covers , LED headlights, inductive smartphone charging pad, 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, seven-inch digital gauges, dual-zone automatic climate control, power tailgate, 360-degree panoramic camera and many safety systems, including an emergency braking system with collision warning, road sign recognition, adaptive high beam, as well as lane change, blind spot and intersection assistant.
The Solterra has two 80 kW/109 hp electric motors on the front and rear axles, each developing 169 Nm of torque, while the 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery allows for a range of up to 466 kilometers.
Using the power of the 150 kW fast charging station, the battery charges up to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.
