Juventus aim Luis Suarez placeholder image as rumors of Alvaro Morata go to Barcelona. El Pistolero reportedly refused to move to Turin. What is the reason?
Morata is said to have entered into a personal agreement with Barcelona. The Spanish striker, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid, is believed to be seeking an exit from the Allianz Stadium because he expects Juventus to be unwilling to make a permanent deal at the end of this season.
However, Juventus will not let go of the striker until they find a replacement and according to the latest report from Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are annoyed with Barcelona, who are approaching Morata in a casual manner.
according to The Corriere dello Sport, The Old Lady tried to replace Morata with Luis Suarez. However, the Atletico Madrid striker refused to move to Turin and was more tempted to move to the United States MLS.
Suarez this season has not been too special with Atletico. From a total of 25 appearances in all competitions, the 34-year-old striker only bagged eight goals and two assists.
Suarez was close to joining the Bianconeri in 2020, but his move fell through as he had to acquire Italian citizenship to qualify for Serie A.
The Uruguayan man then took an exam at the University of Perugia to get an Italian passport. The results of the test turned out to be suspected of cheating which led to an investigation into the University of Perugia professor, former Juventus director Fabio Paratici and the Juventus lawyer duo, namely Maria Turco and Luigi Chiappero.
Juventus have also recently been linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The man from Gabon happens to be frozen out by Arsenal and has the potential to leave the London Cannon this winter.
