BARCELONA (Spain) – In the next season Luis Suarez will wear one of these shirts: Barcelona, Juventus The Atletico Madrid. The Spanish press tries to take stock of the 33-year-old Uruguayan striker, not excluding a sensational stay in the Blaugrana. Ronald Koeman, in the famous phone call in which he indicated to the player that he was no longer part of Barça’s plans, he would have said: “For me you could stay but it’s the club that doesn’t want you”. Words that Suarez could use to his advantage: if in the end he were to stay in blaugrana he would know he could count on the support of his friend Messi and on the coach’s estimate, with the certainty of finding enough space as Barcelona is short of money for another striker.
Suarez, Juve ahead on Atletico
Suarez would only leave with the termination of a contract that provides for another year and an option to renew if he plays 60% of next season’s matches. At that point the Gunslinger could end up inAtletico o alla Juve even if the track leading to the colchoneros would be losing altitude: Suarez earns 20 million euros gross per season, too much for Atletico. In order for the operation to go through, the attacker would need to be satisfied with a lower wage and that the Madrid club be able to yield Diego Costa.
