The prosecutor of Perugia requested four indictments for the case related to the‘farce’ examination by Luis Suarez. The measure was taken against the former rector of the University for Foreigners, Giuliana Grego Bolli, of the then general manager Simone Olivieri, of the professor Stefania Spina and the Juve lawyer Maria Cesarina Turco. Proceedings against Paratici suspended
The University for Foreigners of Perugia is an ‘offended party’ in the proceedings. Among the various sources of evidence, the Perugia prosecutor indicates, among other things, the report of the interrogation of Lorenzo Rocca, examiner of Suarez whose position has already been defined. Then there is all the investigative activity conducted by the financial police, with information, notes and reports, as well as telephone and environmental wiretapping. On the other hand, the proceedings against the former manager of the Juventus sports area, Fabio Paratici, and the lawyer of the same Juventus club Luigi Chiappero have been suspended on the basis of the provisions of article 371 bis of the criminal code. under investigation for disclosing false information to the prosecutor. The prosecutor of the Umbrian capital has therefore not formalized any request at the moment. The request for indictment was signed by the chief prosecutor Raffaele Cantone and by the substitutes Paolo Abbritti and Gianpaolo Mocetti.
