SU Agen vs Grenoble Rugby Match: Pre-Game Ski Vacation Activities at Armandie Stadium

the essentials On the occasion of the Su Agen – Grenoble match on Friday February 23, Armandie is offering activities on the theme of ski holidays a few hours before the start of the match.

This Friday evening, SU Agen offers much more than just a rugby match. Before the match against Grenoble at 9 p.m., the stadium team is organizing various activities from 7 p.m., in order to bring together as many supporters as possible. The activities will mainly take place in the Rue des Légendes with a very particular theme: ski holidays.

Ambience Sweet Madness

On the program for the evening: children’s makeup stand, “Happy hour” with broadcast of the Stade Montois – Uson Nevers match on the giant screens, presence of DJ William who will liven up the evening inspired by the atmosphere of Folie Douce , these famous bars/restaurants located in the middle of the slopes which offer skiers musical shows throughout the day… and for those who would not have had the opportunity to ski, a virtual reality headset will allow them to believe they are on tracks ! The street of legends will be decorated for the occasion. “We want to offer a set of activities to give spectators a good time before the match,” explains Arnaud Kerjean, stadium manager of SU Agen.

“We hope to attract people. Usually the matches are early so when people get off work they don’t necessarily have time to enjoy the moment. We want them to enjoy the entertainment, they can have a bite to eat, a drink glass… We have to make the experience at the stadium a complete evening and not just a match,” announces Arnaud Kerjean. During strong matches, the club is used to organizing events of this kind to “try to liven up the stadium on a regular basis”.

The traditional light show

In addition to the new animations, some remain more traditional. “The light show is something traditional, we stage the exit of the players because it is a highlight of the match and we want the spectators to participate in the atmosphere,” explains the stadium manager. And all means are useful: turning off the lights and using the flash of phones, setting up a sound and lighting show, getting the public to interact… leaving the players’ locker rooms is one of those moments that make SUA matches a ” institution”. “It’s an institution that needs to be renewed. We need to bring new things,” declares Arnaud Kerjean, thinking about the next activities that he can put in place within the stadium.
