A Russian Sukhoi Su-34 bomber attacked Ukrainian military personnel in a border area of Russia’s Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday, August 22. A Russian Sukhoi Su-34 bomber attacked Ukrainian military personnel in a border area of Russia’s Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday, August 22.
“The crew of the Su-34 multi-purpose aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a night strike on a concentration of troops and armored vehicles,” the ministry said.
The aircraft dropped modernized bombs equipped with a gliding and correction module on targets whose coordinates had been communicated by the scouts.
After destroying a temporary deployment point for Ukrainian troops and tanks, the plane returned to its base.
