Styria GP F1 Results: Dominant Performance, Hamilton Wins First Season of Victory Page all

KOMPAS.com – rider Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton, managed to win the race Formula 1 ( F1) GP Styria which was held at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Spielberg, Austria on Sunday (7/12/2020) evening hrs.

Starting the F1 GP Styria race from pole position, Hamilton appeared dominant throughout the race which lasted 71 laps. He finished in first place with a time of 1 hour 22 minutes 50.683 seconds.

The six-time F1 world champion outperformed his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, with a difference of 13.719 seconds. The third position is occupied by Red Bull champion, Max Vertsappen, who finished 33.698 seconds behind Bottas.

This is Hamilton’s premier victory F1 2020. Previously, he was only able to finish in fourth position at the Austrian GP which is the opening series this season.

The road race F1 GP Styria

Lewis Hamilton start from the leading position to start the race well. He was overshadowed by Max Vertsappen in second place and Carlos Sainz Jr. in third position.

Not long after the start, the yellow flag was raised after the Ferrari driver, Sebastian Vettel, said on the radio that his car was having problems.

Vettel was seen bumping into teammate Charles Leclerc in Bend 3.

Safety car then enter the track. Meanwhile, Vettel could not continue the race. Then followed by Leclerc who also had to leave the race on Lap 3 due to technical problems.

In the leading position, Hamilton continued to lead the race with a difference reaching 1,785 seconds ahead of Vertsappen. Valtteri Bottas successfully poked into the third position after overtaking Sainz.

Hamilton’s dominance continued until Lap 16. Drivers from the UK drove fast in front of Vertsappen with the time difference widening to reach 3.040 seconds.

Entry of Vertsappen to pit on Lap 25 to change the tire from soft ke medium making Bottas take over the second position, then to the first position when Hamilton also entered pit.

After the four front riders change tires mediumHamilton returned to first place, followed by Vertsappen, Bottas and Daniel Ricciardo.

However, Ricciardo’s fourth position was then taken over by Alexander Albon and survived until Lap 45. Ricciardo’s ranking increasingly sagged after he was smoked by Sergio Perez on Lap 49.

The composition of the six riders ahead of the F1 GP GP did not change until entering Lap 53. Hamilton in the first position remained consistent in keeping his distance from Vertsappen who was behind him.

Towards the end race, there was a fierce duel between Bottas and Vertsappen for the second place. Bottas was finally able to take the second position and maintain it until the race was over.

Valtteri Bottas finishes behind Lewis Hamilton who wins the F1 GP Styria. As such, the third place was occupied by Max Vertsappen.
