Jakarta, CNNI Indonesia —
Shin Ta Yong promised to treat the currently competing Indonesian national team AFF Cup 2022 before the Philippines.
The Indonesia national team will face the Philippines in the final match of the Group A 2022 AFF Cup at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Monday (2/1). Garuda’s team can secure a minimum ticket to the semi-final by playing a draw against the Azkals.
STY appreciates his team’s performance during 2022 on the sidelines of Indonesia national team training. Heading into the new year, the South Korea coach hopes the Indonesian national team will win the 2022 AFF Cup title.
To boost the motivation of Egy Maulana Vikri and her friends, STY invited them to eat together in a typical South Korean restaurant. The 52-year-old man wants to invite his men to eat Bulgogi.
“We closed 2022 strong. Of course, what we want is AFF champion in 2023. After that, we want everything to be smooth for 2023. Starting in January, we will try to be champions. Later I will check Korean restaurants, I can cure the bulgogi later?” ,” STY said on Youtube PSSI.
STY’s invitation was met with applause from the players and coaching staff. Some of them even told STY to dance “Bulgogi” because the coach had once been the star of a commercial for a product related to that food.
“Coach, coach, dance with Bulgogi, coach, dance, dance!” several players shouted at STY.
STY also responded to player requests by dancing for a while. Subsequently, the coach who led the South Korean national team to the 2018 World Cup set his sights on Saddil Ramdani.
Pointing at Saddil, STY instructed the Sabah FC player to offer him a coffee. Saddil’s birthday falls today, January 2, in conjunction with the match between the Indonesian national team and the Philippines in the AFF Cup 2022.
“Saddil, when did you buy me coffee? Yesterday not yet [sempat]“said STY.
Moments later, STY walked over to Saddil and grabbed the 24-year-old player’s hair. STY’s action of pulling Saddil’s hair was filled with laughter from the players and coaching staff in attendance.
