Stupid action in Freising: man (34) triggers large-scale use for Facebook video Regional

Freising – How stupid is that?

A 34-year-old climbed a crane on Saturday night to film a video for social media. It’s just stupid that he triggered a large-scale operation with it.

At around 9:15 p.m., passers-by informed the police that there was an unauthorized person on a crane in the Lechenfeld district of Freising. This should stand at the end of the trailer with the smartphone in hand. As a precaution, the police, rescue service and fire brigade (including turntable ladder and jumping mat) were alerted.

When the first emergency services arrived, the person was spoken to and asked to get down. However, the man at first refused and continued to hold the cellphone in his hand.

Only after a lot of persuasion and with the help of a fire brigade ladder could the 34-year-old be brought back onto solid ground.

Various forces from the police, BRK and fire brigade were on site. Criminal consequences are being examined. Furthermore, the polluter will be charged for the costs of use.
