Stunning Comet Display Captured by Astrophotographer: A 21-Degree Tail Lights Up the Sky

Not only the brightness of the comet, but also the 21-degree long tail gave an amazing sight in the sky.

This natural phenomenon, which aroused great interest among astronomers, was captured by the photographer Ömer Kilit who lived in Niğde. Kilit said he was very happy to witness and have the opportunity to photograph one of the most impressive comet movements in history. For astrophotographers, such once-in-a-lifetime natural events are a process that requires long-term observation and patience to capture the right moment.

To document the comet, Kilit first went to the Aladağlar region, which has no light pollution, but could not make any observations there. Then, while he kept watching from the balcony of his house, he had the opportunity to see this special moment by watching the sky for half an hour. Claiming that he was very happy to capture this important moment, Kilit recorded the beauty of the comet.
