Gerard Joling, Buddy Vedder, Loretta Schrijver and Carlo Boszhard were all wrong. No Quinty Trustfull or Marga Bult, but none other than presenter Anita Witzier was hiding in the swan suit. She had to face the alien in a last rescue attempt, after which the public sent Anita home, disguised in a swan costume.
“Unbelievable, but how handsome!” Gerard Joling reacts after the unveiling. “But we didn’t guess it all. Anyway, a distorted image with that long neck, it was difficult.”
The NPO presenter loved doing it: “An adventure, it’s so much fun! And the best thing is to show who you are, so in that respect it’s very good if you are the first to be knocked out!”

Anita could hardly see anything through the suit: “I haven’t seen anyone, because you can hardly see anything. I heard everything, and I only thought: as long as I don’t get off that stage.”
