Study Tour Lean Factory Japan

New initiative by Bonfiglioli Consulting. The Bolognese company, with which Octagona has established a strategic partnership, is organizing a STUDY TRIP TO JAPANfrom 22 to 28 April 2018, to live a 360° Lean experience, thanks to a privileged access to corporate establishments of the world of production and services, and with the aim of learning how the concepts of Lean Management are applied in Japan. There are also participations a training workshop with Toyota Manager c/o Hirayama Training Center.

As part of the study trip, the factories of:

  • Yamato Transport Co. Ltd to understand how to find value for the end customer even in a mature business and see an excellent example of the Lean approach applied in logistics distribution;

The added value of the study trip:

  • preliminary training on the principles of the lean system, to standardize the knowledge of the participants;
  • company visits to companies in the world of production and services, to learn how the concepts of Lean Management are applied in Japan and how the management strategy of Management by Cleaning is practiced;
  • hands-on training provided by Hirayama’s Toyota Manager;
  • daily group debriefings, by a Lean Expert, to derive the greatest possible benefit from the experience achieved;
  • direct interaction with management systems and local managers, thanks to the support of an expert in Japanese culture;
  • comparison with other entrepreneurs, managers and consultants, away from everyday life.
