Study Reveals Average Monthly Parking Costs in Main French Cities with Montpellier and Toulouse in 6th and 7th Place

Zenpark, the leading operator of automated shared car parks in Europe, recently unveiled a study on the average price of parking per month in the main cities of France. In this one, we learn without surprise that it is in Paris that parking costs the most expensive, with a monthly rate of 192 euros in public car parks. Following the ranking, we find Marseille (120 euros / month), Lille (103 euros / month) and Lyon (100 euros / month). In the region, Montpellier and Toulouse are respectively in 6th and 7th position, with average prices of 97 and 96 euros/month.

Zenpark promises savings

To save some money, Zenpark highlights its competitive rates. The French leader in “shared parking” promises average prices 4 euros cheaper in the Hérault prefecture, but above all, 27 euros in savings in the pink city. To attract motorists looking for long-term parking spaces, the operator also claims one of the simplest rental offers on the market, with “a monthly subscription, without commitment, and can be canceled at any time”. To date, the Zenpark network has 19 car parks in Montpellier and around thirty in the pink city.
