Study: Investors are extremely pessimistic

Frankfurt According to a survey by Bank of America (Bofa) Securities, 93 percent of investors expect a recession this year. They fear that numerous companies still have to withdraw their profit expectations. At the same time, they believe that the forecasts for global growth have largely dealt with the corona crisis.

The analysts of the fund company Fidelity expect the companies they watch to drop profits on average by 44 percent if the corona pandemic continues to dominate this year. In this case, more than half fear that their companies will then encounter solvency problems, i.e. that they will face serious difficulties.
