Study Finds Probiotics Helped Quarter of Participants Protect Against Coronavirus, Influenza, and ARVI

The method helped a quarter of those who took it

At the height of the pandemic, which occurred at the beginning of 2021, scientists conducted a study and found that taking probiotics can help the body protect itself from the aggressive coronavirus. RG writes about this, citing an article in the journal Clinical Nutrition.

During the experiment, one group of people was given probiotics and the other a placebo. As a result, it turned out that among those who took this drug, the incidence of coronavirus was significantly lower. Only a quarter of the participants in the month-long study ended up getting sick – and this is not only about Covid, but also ARVI and influenza.

Russian microbiologist Ancha Baranova also spoke about the effectiveness of the method. In her tg channel, she wrote that to prevent diseases, it is really worth taking a course of probiotics.

Earlier, doctor Pisareva named a drink that is best not to drink after 50 years.
