Its management has now decided to combine its name with the renowned design company Pininfarina to bring together what is probably the most exotic tractor in the world.

The Straddle concept model was introduced on the New Holland website to show the future of tractors. This is a special type of machine, which should take care mainly of vineyards, where you need gentle movement in narrow furrows without the tractor damaging the individual heads or anything else in the vineyard.

Studio Pininfarina is duly proud of its creation, and the designers state that, for example, the cabin was designed inspired by the so-called flute, a special glass for sparkling wine, which is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top. The overall look can even give a relatively sporty impression.

The forward-facing cab is meant to be more dynamic, something few people would expect from a tractor. That sternness is created by the machine literally stretching the wheels to the required width. What is the maximum, however, is not known.

“Our pioneering year-round tractor concept offers a glimpse into the future that premium wine growers with narrow vineyards and high value will certainly strive for,” said New Holland President Carlo Lambro, who praised the Pininfarina brand.

However, he did not say anything about when a similar tractor could enter the market. The machine is so far only a concept. However, the press release mentions the possibility of electric propulsion.
