Studio Former Telltale Games Employees Announce Star Trek: Resurgence – Gaming – News

Dramatic Labs announces Star Trek: Resurgence at the Game Awards. The story game is made by a studio founded by former employees of the already closed and then restarted Telltale Games.

Star Trek: Resurgence is set in the year 2380, shortly after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The game will be released in Spring 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and on PC via the Epic Games Store. Dramatic Labs emphasizes that the game is completely single player “with no microtransactions, DLC or other revenue models.”

In the interactive, narrative game, players embody two characters, First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz. Working aboard the USS Resolute, both characters gradually unravel a mystery about two alien civilizations on the brink of war.
