Studio Brussels’ New Logo and Strong Market Share Growth: A Look Back at 40 Years of Radio History

The new logo has the shape of a classic radio microphone. Studio Brussels thus refers to its 40-year history as a radio station. The new corporate identity is in line with the recent renewal of the branding of parent brand VRT.

The previous logo, with the glitch, the interruption in the letters, dated from 2019.

Studio Brussels can look back on a strong festival summer. According to the latest CIM figures, the channel has a market share of 8.5 percent (+1.55 percent) and reaches 54,000 more Flemish people every day compared to a year earlier.

“A year ago we launched a few new programs, such as our daily music program “Radar” and a program about music from “The Noughties”. There are also our podcasts and digital music streams such as “Untz” and “Zweige gitaren”. And now So we also have a new logo. In the meantime, we will continue to make the best radio. That is the essence,” says network head Steven Lemmens.
