The Second World War represents a black page in the history of our country and it has left its mark on our society in a profound way. It is a tragedy that should never be forgotten. From September 2024, Studio 100 will present a show about this: 40-45, the musical.
The story
A story about two brothers who each choose a different side of the battle after the bombing of Rotterdam. Rotterdam, just after the First World War. Dirk and Louis were born a year apart. They grow up in a warm nest. The brothers become the best of friends and nothing seems able to break their bond. Until the inevitable happens: the Second World War breaks out and it leaves its mark in every living room, in every family. Also in the Dirk and Louis family…
The show consists of scenes with many special effects. 40-45, the music uses a special technical concept with a moving stand and sound through separate headphones. This will ensure that the audience is drawn into the story in a unique way. Starring Soy Kroon, Dorian Bindels and Gaia Aikman.
