Studio 100 musical ’40-45′ is finally coming to an end: last performances this summer | showbiz

showbizThe musical ’40-45′ will play its very last performance on Sunday 3 July in the Studio 100 Pop-Up Theater in Puurs. With more than 750,000 visitors, the performance was a real milestone in Flemish musical history. Never before has a performance in our country attracted so many visitors.

The grandiose spectacle musical premiered on October 8, 2018. It immediately became clear that the high expectations had been met. Even with the corona pandemic in between, the musical managed to attract more than 750,000 visitors in its 500 played predictions.

That number of visitors was not only due to protagonists Jonas Van Geel and Jelle Cleymans, all the technical gadgets also made the experience even richer. Spectacular scenes with a lot of special effects, moving stands and sound through individual headphones ensured that the spectators were drawn into the story in a unique way.

“I am so very proud of what we were able to achieve with ’40-45′. This special production has amply exceeded my wildest dreams and expectations in all areas”, says Gert Verhulst. “This performance is in any case one of the biggest highlights in the history of Studio 100.”
