Studio 100 goes to the Council of State after Spring channel has seized the radio frequency

Hans Bourlon called the decision “a conservative choice” immediately after it was announced. He referred to Media Minister Dalle (CD&V) who himself would have liked to “dynamize the radio landscape”, while according to Bourlon “nothing is actually changing”.

“It would have been a very nice extra business for us that we believed in hard and we could have set up fantastic things with partners,” Bourlon told VRT NWS at the time. “Allowing in someone else could have been an enrichment.”
