On Wednesday night, Estudiantes de Olavarría presented the professional team that will play the 21/22 season of the Argentine Basketball League. The first match for Bataraz will be this Friday, at the Club’s Maxigym, against Gymnastics and Fencing.
With the classic “Start me up” that characterizes Estudiantes, one by one the players and the coaching staff that will play the competition presented themselves, with the new clothing.
Then, the vice president of the Carlos Emiliozzi Club thanked “Bin Baires who lends us his house to present to students. Thank the Municipality that always accompanies us, as well as sponsors and supporters. We have a lot of confidence in each other. The road is going to be long, but I think it will be successful ”.
Julio Galardo, as a member of the basketball commission, remarked that “The club’s project seeks that basketball can be consolidated between the formative and the professional. We have a lot of faith, a lot of confidence. With everyone’s support, we are sure that the locality will be very strong ”.
For his part, the Secretary of Human Development and Quality of Life of the Municipality Diego Robbiani wished “To the players and coaching staff, all the omen and luck in what comes”
“For us, I also speak on behalf of the mayor Ezequiel Galli, it is very important to be able to accompany them. Last year was complicated, the leaders have made a huge effort to sustain the squad. The demand was very great, with no audience present ”, added.
He further argued that “This seems to be beginning to pass, a new stage with hope. We do not hesitate to accompany the club because we understand that Students’ basketball is representative of Olavarría in the province and the country ”.
“People have to accompany on the court, it is essential for basketball to be contagious and for Olavarría to have Estudiantes at the top and I do not doubt that it will be like that”, concluded.
Also present at the presentation of the campus were the president of the HCD Bruno Cenizo, members of the Student Steering Committee and representatives of sponsors.
