New Delhi: Students from Jammu and Kashmir were sent back after an attempt to molest students at Tshansi Navodaya School in Uttar Pradesh. The action was taken when some local students came forward. 20 students from Tsansi studied at Rajouri Navodaya School in Jammu and Kashmir and 18 students from Jammu and Kashmir studied at Navodaya School in Tsansi. The conflict broke out in the hostel of Tsansi Navodaya School after rumors spread that there had been violence against the students of Tsansi in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday evening, some local students stormed the hostel. The authorities and the police intervened and calmed down the situation, but on Friday morning more students organized and staged a sit-in in front of the school. The students from Jammu and Kashmir were sent back to their homes on Friday itself to avoid any further problems.
