Last week there were four days of orientation, with the Salone dei Mestieri e delle Professioni at the Ville Ponti dedicated to eighth grade students. Yesterday was followed by a “Fuori Salone” hosted in the spaces of the Province of Varese at Villa Recalcati. This time the recipients were fourth and fifth grade students interested in discovering training proposals and job opportunities in the healthcare sector. The focus was in fact on study paths and career opportunities in the health sector. The presence of young people was large: around 600 took part in the event, born from the synergy between the Province of Varese, the Chamber of Commerce and the local school office, in collaboration with the University of Insubria and the Orders of healthcare professions. After the greetings from the authorities, the activity of the desks began, dedicated to the various degree courses. Here the kids were able to learn about the area’s offerings, from Physiotherapy to Medicine to Nursing and Dental Hygiene, just to give a few examples. But it was also a useful opportunity for teachers, counselors and parents, who followed a seminar which took place in the afternoon.
