Students and teachers from Salerno hospitalized on a school trip to Tuscany

Three students and two teachers, part of a group on a school trip from Salerno and who were staying in a hotel in Montecatini Termethey had to seek emergency care Fishbecause they accused gastrointestinal disorders acute in character. This is what was announced byLocal health authority in central Tuscany. This is the same hotel where last April 5th another group, including minors and adults in total around fifty people, also on a school trip, experienced the same symptoms.

The conditions

According to the health authority, the state of health of the five hospitalized patients does not cause concern but, given the symptoms (nausea, vomiting and fever), remain temporarily under observation and should be discharged in the evening. Today’s investigation is now added to the epidemiological investigation of 5 April and still ongoing: the causes that led to the predominantly gastrointestinal problems are being sought. It also seems, as communicated by the Central Tuscany Local Health Authority, that other boys from the same group called the 118 during an excursion to Firenzebut at the moment they are not hospitalized.
