## Teenager Faces Charges After Shooting Classmate on School Bus
**Milan, Italy** – A 16-year-old boy is in custody after allegedly shooting a classmate on a school bus in Asola, Italy, on November 22nd. The victim, a 17-year-old, sustained serious injuries to his mouth and jaw.
The incident occurred as students were being transported home from school. An altercation between the two teenagers escalated,culminating in the suspect firing a single shot from a Beretta 6.35 caliber pistol.
“The victim was initially believed to have been injured by a firecracker,” authorities stated. “However, during surgery, doctors discovered and removed a small-caliber bullet lodged between his tongue and jawbone.”
following the shooting, the suspect allegedly disposed of the weapon in the Oglio River. A specialized team of Carabinieri divers later recovered the firearm.
The suspect has confessed to the crime and is currently being held at the Beccaria juvenile detention center in Milan. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
