(Abu Ali) recounts that his condition deteriorated a lot about a year ago, when he felt very upset and angry for no specific reason, and had a constant headache, and an unwillingness to go to work or talk to anyone.

He added that his wife felt very anxious and insisted on taking him to the hospital to check on his condition.

And he continued: «We went to Al Ain Governmental Hospital, and we went to the emergency department, and after the specialist doctor examined my case, he asked me to perform laboratory tests and analyzes, and to do blood tests, and the results of the examinations showed that I had a very high blood pressure, and he asked me to review the psychiatric department in the hospital. So I went to the specialist doctor and told him about my condition in detail, explaining to him the issues I was suffering from, and the doctor diagnosed my condition as having a type of depression, and special medications must be taken to control it, and he also advised me to exercise and change my lifestyle.

The patient said: “After adhering to the doctor’s advice and taking depression medications on a daily basis, I noticed an improvement in my health despite my constant feeling of severe headache, unwillingness to eat or drink, my constant desire to sleep, and not to do any work, and I thought that this was normal because I I take antidepressants.”

He added: «One day, the headache increased, so my wife called the ambulance, and was transferred to Al Ain Governmental Hospital, and I was given some painkillers, and I stayed for two days under medical observation, and it turned out that depression led to many complications, such as permanent high pressure, and the need for To continuous follow-up, and to take medications on a regular basis.

The patient continued: «The costs of my medications to treat pressure, in addition to medications for depression in Al Ain Governmental Hospital, amount to 9282 dirhams (for a period of six months), and I am completely unable to provide any amount, as I work as a representative in a private company in Al Ain with a salary of 3500 dirhams, While my family consists of five members.

The patient appealed to benefactors, merciful hearts, and benevolent people to extend a helping hand to him, to save his life from the complications of the disease.
