New parish association
With effect from September 1, 2024, the “Piesting and Schwarzatal” parish association will be established. This new parish association includes the parishes of Gutenstein, Pernitz, Scheuchenstein, Waidmannsfeld, Rohr im Gebirge and Schwarzau im Gebirge. At the same time, the previous parish association “Schwarzau im Gebirge” will be dissolved on August 31, 2024. The current “Regulations for Parish Associations in the Archdiocese of Vienna” applies to the new parish association.
Personnel
Father Gerwin Komma SJ, who previously served as episcopal vicar for the institutes of consecrated life in the Archdiocese of Vienna, will be relieved of his duties effective September 30, 2024.
Wojciech Chmielewski, who works within the framework of the Neocatechumenal Way. He will be released to serve in the Diocese of Nicopolis beginning September 1, 2024.
Diocesan bodies
In the cathedral chapter of the Metropolitan Church of St. Stephan, Josef Grünwidl, episcopal vicar in the Vicariate South – Under the Vienna Woods, will receive an honorary canonship with effect from July 1, 2024.

Categorical pastoral care
In the area of Hospital and nursing home pastoral care Thomas Wisotzki, who was previously a hospital chaplain at the Donaustadt Clinic, will work as a hospital chaplain at the Ottakring Clinic (Vienna 16) from September 1, 2024.
Church institutions
Am Institute for the Permanent Diaconate Rudolf Mijoc will be appointed as a new employee with effect from September 1, 2024. From November 17, 2024, he will also take over the management of the institute. The previous manager, Andreas Frank, will be relieved of his duties at this point. Franz Schramml, who previously worked as deputy head of training, will be relieved of his position on December 31, 2024.
Parish associations

Im Pfarrverband Pillichsdorf Leopold Benno Mlimbo (Diocese of Iringa), previously temporary chaplain in Pillichsdorf, Obersdorf and Großengersdorf, will be relieved of his duties with effect from August 31, 2024 and will return to his homeland on September 1, 2024.
Im Weinland Nord Parish Association Cornelius Manfred Komba (Diocese of Mbinga), previously temporary chaplain in Drasenhofen, Falkenstein, Herrnbaumgarten, Kleinschweinbarth, Ottenthal, Poysbrunn, Schrattenberg and Stützenhofen, will be relieved of his duties with effect from November 30, 2024 and will return to his homeland on December 1, 2024 .
In Margareten, Vienna 5 Matthias Beck, previously provisional parish priest at Resurrection of Christ and St. Josef zu Margareten, will be appointed pastor on September 1, 2024. From this date, Father Ciprian Iacob OFMConv will serve as chaplain in the parishes of the Resurrection of Christ and St. Joseph of Margaret.
In Donaustadt Mitte, Vienna 22 Ramon Gaha (Diocese of Man), previously temporary chaplain in Neukagran, Kagraner Anger and Stadlau (all Vienna 22), will be relieved of his duties with effect from August 31, 2024.
In Vineyard of Christ, Vienna 23 Harald Mally, previously pastor at the Edresstrasse and Mauer Church of the Redeemer, will be relieved of his duties with effect from September 30, 2024. Magdalena Tschmuck will work as a pastoral assistant in the parishes of Mauer and Redeemer Church Endressstraße (both Vienna 23) from September 1, 2024.
Im Pfarrverband Anningerblick Andreas Frank, previously a deacon with a diocesan profession in Guntramsdorf-St. Josef, Guntramsdorf-St. Jakobus, Gumpoldskirchen and Münchendorf, relieved of his duties with effect from February 28, 2025 and appointed deacon with a civilian profession for these parishes.

In the Parish of Christ on Wienerberg, Vienna 10 Romaric Ulrich Bonou (Diocese of Porto Novo), previously a temporary chaplain in Am Schüttel (Vienna 2), will also work as a temporary chaplain from September 1, 2024. Emmanuel Kelechukwu Okorie (Diocese of Enugu) will be appointed as temporary chaplain from October 1, 2024.
