Struberg’s Emotional Confession: Betrayal and Heartbreak in the Band “Satin”

“We are “such a family”, we all are like that for each other, and at the moment when I really need to, and when I need to work, earn money, then everyone said – no,” said Struberg.

If another band member were in a situation like Struberg’s, he claims he would stand up for him and prevent him from leaving the band.

According to Struberg, the group was waiting for him to make public his version of what was happening at home, but the musician came out with the statement only a year after his ex-wife’s statement. “I had a feeling that everything would calm down, but it didn’t!”

“In that letter it was said (..) you’ll get through it – come back. I say, guys, it won’t happen! I’ll never come back, I wouldn’t come back for a million. I’m in debt, but I wouldn’t return to “Satin” for a million,” said Struberg.

When asked what kind of relationship he currently has with Kriven, Struberg answers – none and adds that he would not return to the group even for a million, because he feels betrayed. “It hurts me a lot that we don’t have a relationship with Janka. I still love Janka. I’ve been angry with the group, and then I’m sad about how cool it is. Jānis and I were really close.”

“I must have been emotional for once [Instagram] story I had put where I was on top of Janka. After that, I realized I was on an emotional wave and wrote a long letter on both Instagram and SMS, saying that I wished the band all the best from the bottom of my heart. I wrote as if to forgive him and myself, but I didn’t get a message back. It hurts me that this has happened, I just don’t understand how everything from a family can turn into such h…” comments Strubergs.

He hopes that both of them could renew their friendship with Krivėnas.

“If Yanka wrote to me, I would definitely answer him. I’m sorry that everything is gone, but I want the guys to be okay.”
