Tottenham’s main attacking target, Dusan Vlahovic, has revealed that ‘major proposals’ have been made for his signing this summer, while also indicating his plans ahead of the deadline.
The Serbian international has been strongly inclined to make a move to North London since it emerged that Harry Kane was looking to get away from the club. However, despite the pattern of England committing his future to the club – for now – those rumors continue to persist.
A report from Football.London a fortnight ago stated that Vlahovic it was still Fabio Paratici’s main target of attack. Indeed, Spurs he is still said to be considering the 21-year-old as a potential attacking partner for Kane.
Atlético de Madrid is also an admirer of Vlahovic, who scored 21 goals in Serie A last season. The forward has started the new campaign in a similar vein, scoring three times in the same number of games.
Fiorentina technical director Nicolas Burdisso insisted earlier this month that his club had no intention of selling out the attacker. In fact, they are looking to extend their contract instead.
And now Vlahovic has admitted that offers have been on the table for his signature. However, he also stated that he will not go anywhere.
He told Sky Sport Italia (via Fabrizio Romano): “I have received the best proposals this summer, really great for the club as well, but I never pushed to leave.
“I wanted to stay at Fiorentina … and I do, yes.”

Tottenham to pursue other goals
The news will be a blow to the Spurs, who need quality backup for Kane. However, it was always unlikely that Vlahovic would sign after Tottenham’s talisman committed to the new campaign.
The Spurs must now turn their attention elsewhere for a deadline day attack boost for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.
Rumors persist that a The move for the power of the Wolves, Adama Traore, could still happen.
Even though Traore is not a central attacker, the feeling in North London is that Son Heung-Min can play that role in Kane’s absence. The club also has high hopes for young Dane Scarlett, who participated in the Europa Conference League play-off qualifiers against Pacos de Ferreira.
