NEW YORK / OSLO (Dagbladet): Støre is confident that both Russia and Lavrov know what Norway thinks about the ongoing war.
– These actions must stop. Any conflict is bound to end at the negotiating table and there must be a way to enter it, says Støre.
He stresses that Ukraine has to decide this, because it is the attacked side.
– Our condemnation is clear and we need to take another step to see what the way out of this situation could be, says Støre.
– Not only for Ukraine, which takes on the huge burden, but we have the energy crisis in Europe and the food crisis in other parts of the country which are also knock-on effects of this war, it continues.
